About the event
Join Happy Home School Hub for a special live virtual field trip with the National Gallery of Art!
During this interactive experience, students will explore selected works of art with a National Gallery of Art docent while practicing close observation, critical thinking, storytelling, and conversation.
Rather than simply listening to a lecture, students will be encouraged to look closely at artwork, share what they notice, answer questions, and explain the stories, emotions, and ideas they see within each piece.
Students will practice skills such as:
🎨 Observing details in works of art
💭 Making inferences from visual clues
